Our modern world can fill out our schedule and be challenging to navigate, but not our Arcadia dental office. We work hard to fit appointments around your schedule, and we provide the personalized dental treatment that your teeth require. Everyone has a different smile, and each individual who comes into our Phoenix dental office receives a treatment plan that is tailored to fit their individual dental needs.
No matter what your current oral health state is, we have every procedure in place that you may require including cosmetic dentistry services, gum disease treatments, Invisalign, dental implants, tooth bonding and much more. Check out a detailed list of the services and treatments we provide in the Phoenix, AZ area and contact Dr. Matthew Milana to keep your oral health on track.
Once you’ve settled into our comfortable dental office, Dr. Milana will ask you about any concerns or smile goals you might have. This is a perfect time to focus on your oral health and discuss anything that’s been on your mind so that we can create an individualized dental treatment plan to fit your needs. If you have a specific issue that has been bothering you or are interested in cosmetic options like teeth whitening or Invisalign, Dr. Milana will take the time to explain your treatment options in detail.
We always start by taking digital x-rays using our modern digital x-ray system. Digital x-rays allow our Phoenix dentists to get an accurate picture of your oral health before beginning treatment. In some cases, we may take high-resolution photos using our intraoral camera, which shows our Arcadia patients images of their own individual teeth on our treatment room monitors. Dr. Milana can easily show you any signs of wear-and-tear, tooth decay, gum disease, fractures, or any other condition that may require dental treatment. We find that our patients are more involved in their own oral health when they can fully see their own dental condition. This takes the mystery out of dental care!
Regular teeth cleanings and dental check-ups are essential for maintaining your oral health. Dr. Milana will lightly and assiduously remove any plaque build-up around your teeth and gums. Because he is able to get into the nooks and crannies you can’t access, you can leave Arcadia Dentistry knowing that your teeth are completely clear of any debris or food particles—which is always an amazingly fresh feeling. After our Phoenix dentist has removed all the harmful layers of film and plaque, Dr. Milana will polish your teeth; this contributes to that incredibly silky smooth feeling you get after a dental cleaning, and it is also a great way to whiten your teeth.
Dr. Milana loves establishing a patient relationship with each member of our dental family. During each cleaning, he takes the time to get to know our patients from the Arcadia community. Of course, if you look forward to your dental cleanings as a time to relax and turn inward, we have TVs in every treatment room so you can relax and catch up on your favorite shows.
Once your teeth have been gently cleaned, Dr. Milana will visually inspect your teeth and gums for any evidence of tooth decay, gum disease, infection, or other dental abnormalities. If our dentist identifies something, we will discuss our findings and our recommendations for a treatment plan. Together, we will go over your x-rays and intraoral pictures so you can see your own dental condition rather than just be told about it.
At Arcadia Dentistry, we love educating our Phoenix patients about the value of their oral health and what they can do to extend it. We thoroughly enjoy this step of the dental appointment, and we never rush it. This is an excellent time for patients to bring up any smile goals they may have, or establish what their individual needs might be. We want our Arcadia patients to know they have our full and undivided attention.
Dr. Milana will create an individualized smile treatment plan for you, and we will go over any dental treatment alternatives you have so you can make an informed decision regarding your dental needs. Our front desk staff will work with you on your insurance benefits and ensure you maximize them; we will go over all your finances and discuss your payment options.
When you step outside our doors, we want you to feel polished, refreshed, and good about the state of your oral health. Now you have one less thing to worry about!
Dr. Matthew Milana is the fourth dentist in his family, which means he comes from a long line of excellent dentistry and perseverance. In fact, his grandfather and two uncles are dentists, and his father, two brothers, two uncles, and cousins are all dental laboratory technicians who custom fabricate dental crowns.
You can imagine that he grew up spending a lot in the dental lab and learning to understand the complexities of dental prosthetics. Throughout this process, he came to enjoy and respect the process of restoring and improving people’s smiles and quality of life.
Dr. Milana invests in ultramodern dental technology to make all your dental visits and procedures as efficient and comfortable as possible. Our commitment to your dental health makes each dental appointment pleasant and convenient. We invite our Phoenix patients to ask any questions about the technology we use and how it benefits them.
You can find that our digital x-rays and intraoral camera improve the efficiency of your dental check-up, plus it’s pretty neat to see high-quality images of your own mouth!
We know that maintaining your oral health is necessary for your general well-being, but your dental visits don't have to be hard or stressful! That's why we provide clean rooms, an attractive waiting room, a coffee bar, and neck pillows for each patient. Our whole dental team works to keep our patients happy and satisfied.
